COMBAT
When a character attacks or is attacked, they will be flagged by the game as being in combat. A player will leave combat if:- they have not attacked or been attacked for 5 posts.
- after the creatures run a certain distance and lose interest in you (this is left to the participant's discretion).
- or all the enemy characters that have attacked your character are killed.
Actions that will get you into combat are:- Attacking
- Using an offensive active ability.
- Using abilities on units that are in combat.
TURN BASED
Every post in a thread is considered a turn. While in combat, during each turn, players are allowed two actions. These actions could be:- Using an item.
- Using an ability.
- Any action like dodging, jumping, running.
Again, that's two action per post when a character is in combat.

Combat Examples Here is a visual example of how combat should look like in a thread. In posts that you use abilities, you need the name of the ability used, the number of times you can use the ability in the thread (In the example you see it as 3/3. The first number is the one that depletes, while the second number is the number of times per thread that it can be used), and the roll to see if you succeed or not. You can format these however you'd like, just make sure they are clearly visible.

World generating and you How to Engage in combat with randomly generated mobs in the game world? You roll dice. The number you get should specify what it is you generated by checking the Generating Environments Board. In that board, you'll find threads that specify what you would be generating depending on the numbers you've rolled.
keep in mind that generating anything this way is optional. If you and your roleplaying partners want to specifically play something and not generate it randomly that is totally allowed.
