1. DRAIN ATTACKS PLZ. Damage is less than DPS skills, heal is less than a standard heal, but it deals both damage and healing in exchange for being weaker than a single effect.
Since you don't have any Support, Controller or Hybrid sort of class(es), which I get seeing as you want to stick to the classic triangle, I'll just suggest drains to let me technically heal people and then go back to spamming debuffs and poisons.
Sorry any groups that have to double-up on healers because mine will not care enough about their official role. :' )
(But that's why Nemo's a paladin, right? Lol.)
2. Alize. Befriending Nemo in another stupid way. Getting along well until something stressful gets between them and then: WILL THEY HOOK UP, OR BREAK UP? IT'S TIME TO FIND OUT!
Spoiler: It's probably both.
3. Oh right I'm also going to play Chi-chan in our reenactment of that commercial series.
As for other things... . . . Is this still just a standard MMO with no trapped or other gimmicky aspect? Is it VR?
Some kind of repeatable dungeon-run system would be neat. Like a quest-chain or something? I dunno. I've never seen an MMO site tackle that aspect outside of one-time events/raids.
Bugs: > I can't hit the edit button when I have my screen width at 50% because the bottom set of mini-profile buttons block it. I'll see the bottom sliver of the Edit button still, but it's rendered unclickable for some reason.

antagonist guess what? Players build their own abilities. Meaning you could have support abilities, drain abilities, damage over time abilities... you name it! Players are not limited by their affinity either. Be it dps, tank or healer, you can have any ability you can think of. The difference between the affinities is that the one you pick gives you a boost to abilities of that affinity. It’s why instead of class I named them affinity, that and class is whatever name you want to come up with, be it ranger, necromancer or looooong man. I still need to write over all the info in the Devi group and edit accordingly, but a lot of it is player created, I just hand the building Blocks.
I can’t wait to see these two interact once again. I also can’t wait for the long man story. It’ll be hilarious. XD

Hmm, we could try something involving random encounters with a plugin. Maybe make boards for dungeon locations and have members make threads for that dungeon run?
Edit: I could switch the buttons with the time stamp and that should avoid that issue. I’ll see about doing that once I’m on the computer again. Thanks!

In place of Uses/EP on skills, add Duration. Number of turns/posts/rounds an effect lasts.
Then add restrictions as needed.
Damage can't have Duration. (unless you have/make a DoT type)
Buffs/Debuffs require a minimum of 1 Duration.
Utility can't have Power.
So on.
So the final stats of a skill would be:
Targets (Number of targets, if any, and whether it targets allies/enemies or both) Power (damage/healing/buffing/debuffing amount, if any) Duration (time it lasts, if any) EP Cost (as determined by Type + Tier, minimum 2)
When creating and leveling skills, points are distributed between Targets, Power and Duration.
EP Cost can't be changed by players, it's all determined by the system.
ADDITIONALLY.
We should have a rule that Drain splits its power in half. Half for damage, half for healing. Rounded up or down to the nearest whole number.
That way, a Power 4 Drain isn't dealing 4 Damage AND 4 Healing (equal to 8 power), but rather, it will deal 2 Damage and 2 healing, equal to its assigned 4.
Then over on the GEAR side:
HP (Hit Points) EP (Energy Points) DR (Damage Reduction)
To balance the armor.... Light has the most EP, but lowest DR. Medium is equal between the two. And Heavy Armor is the lowest EP but highest DR...?
But then tanks might run into mana trouble. Hum.
Alternatively, we should have PDR and MDR, physical and magical damage reduction.
In THAT case, Light Armor has the most MDR and least PDR, Medium is equal between the two, and Heavy has the most PDR and least MDR.
Debuffs can lower Power or DR (or PDR and MDR).
Maybe there can also be status effects also. So that there's more options for creative debuffs, like: Blind (roll a die to determine if it hits)

antagonist I had a bit of time to work in a bit of the info this morning. Then I stumbled onto the issue of duration relying on posts. I wanna keep posts, but I think we need some sort of math for the number of people in a thread. I wrote this up quick this morning, but it needs tweaking (and possibly some sort of divide this number with this number or something)...
DURATION Duration is the number of posts an ability can last in a thread. This counts as your own posts when there are only two people participating in the thread. Three or more people participating in a thread will count the posts of everyone involved.
Any ideas?

NPC to add! Copy pasted notes from discord chats XD Chippy, this bag NPC will be in game. It's happening. Legendary Bag of Chips: “chips has wares if you have coin, stranger” “chippy’s ppl call. chippy must go.” I love this Bones character NPC too. adds to notes: NPC is a quest of hidden collectibles that build into a skeleton when you find them all and generates a friendly NPC. wear a Skeleton hoodie all the time, maybe some skeleton gloves and a mask or face paint.

What do you guys think? Should we make NPC accounts, or should I install the NPC plugin and anyone with staff access can just access these NPCs?

For a later date I'd like to add:
-BUFFS+DEBUFFS -weaknesses and or negative effects on abilities give members something in return for having added them to their abilities. -DoTs -STATUS EFFECTS
Expect for future expansions.

In the little time I've had this week I've been working on adding the tools to ease the use of the system tot he posting page. So far I've added a calculator (Which I'm working on to make responsive) and a percentage calculator. I'm hoping members don't need to use it all the time since I wanna keep the system as simple as possible, but it's there for when people do need it.
