These clones will copy all speech and movements made by the user, including casting animations, but they cannot deal any damage. They have 1 HP, 0 DR and a duration of 10 minutes. If a clone is reduced to 0 HP or runs out of time, it will shatter like glass before fading away.

IN GAME
No one's entirely sure what Verius Spectris is, but they always seem to know more than they let on. And if they are a part of the game, they've never been directly acknowledged by the developers.
This has led to a few theories to explain their seemingly intimate knowledge of the game; a developer having some fun, a very intense role-player, a hacker digging into hidden files, or maybe even a rogue NPC that's developed a mind of its own.
Despite some secrets that could probably give them an unfair advantage, they don't seem interested in using it for personal gain. They much prefer toying with players by feeding them clues to lead them toward dangers and rewards alike.
That said, they certainly aren't opposed to to the infamy it has earned them among the playerbase, and will often revel in praise, acknowledgement and ire alike.
REAL LIFE
What is real?
If you asked that to Verius, they'd simply imply that the game is the real world. Any attempt to convince them otherwise is treated like some sort of madness.
Are they serious, or just trying to frustrate you? [attr="class","app"]Changelings are the children of female Faeries and mortal men. Moonkin, Shifter and Solar men, among some other races, are all been able to father Changelings. The children of the good faeries are often born of love, while evil faeries will manipulate their lovers and kill them after the act is done.
They all have some spark of magic within them due to their maternal heritage. Whether or not they choose to develop these powers, however, is left up to the individual. Those who do not ever use their magic may eventually have it fade out as they grow older.
And despite their name, Changelings are not naturally capable of changing form, but rather are exchanged for an unrelated firstborn of the father's species so that the child can be raised among them. Though they will be born identical to their father's race, puberty will result in wild changes that reveal their true lineage.
During this time, Changelings may develop hair and eye colors that are unnatural for their father's race, and their skin may grow darker, paler or change into a strangely colorful hue. These traits will closely match their faerie mother.
Glowing eyes, heterochromia, pointed ears, animal-like pupils, claw-like nails or markings that spontaneously grow onto the skin are also features that might develop during puberty. Claws are exclusive to the children of evil faeries.
Changelings are exceedingly rare, to a point that towns and villages without a scholar may not be able to identify them at all. This has bred a lot of superstition and fear around them, which is only worsened by their aura of otherness that can leave them ostracized by their peers.
A faerie mother may choose to call out to her child after they have developed into their true form. Good faeries will invite them to join in her court, but evil ones may strip away the child's magical essence in order to further her own power.
